Inspection and Quality Control
To ensure high quality standards, Silcon Plastic Srl produces specimens for tensile, impact, and fatigue tests to evaluate the mechanical properties of materials processed using MIM (Metal Injection Molding) technology.
In support of mechanical testing, chemical analyses can be performed to determine oxygen, carbon, and nitrogen content, ensuring compliance with required standards.
Dimensional control is carried out with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM), to verify compliance with the tolerances required by the customer.
Metallographic analyses using an optical microscope and density measurements using a precision balance complete the quality control activity, for an in-depth evaluation of the microstructure and compactness of the components.
Certifications
In 2004, confirming its commitment to rigorous production cycle management and ensuring the high quality of its products, Silcon Plastic srl obtained UNI EN ISO 9001 certification. Since 2023, the company has also been UNI EN ISO 14001 certified, guaranteeing its attention to environmental sustainability and responsible resource management.
