Metal Injection Molding by Silcon Plastic is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with Italian Law no. 4 of January 9, 2004, following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 – Level AA, and in compliance with the principles of the European Accessibility Act (EU Directive 2019/882), applicable from June 28, 2025.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the requirements of WCAG 2.1 – Level AA, due to the limitations listed below. Compliance has been verified through automated testing tools (Google Lighthouse, WAVE, Silktide) and manual checks.

In particular:

  1. Content not yet fully accessible :
    • Decorative images without appropriate text alternatives (with reference to the map in the “Contacts” page) [WCAG 2.1 A 1.1.1];
    • Some links may not clearly describe the destination of the page, particularly within the cookie banner and footer [WCAG 2.1 A 2.4.4];
    • Some links and buttons use generic descriptions (e.g. “More Info” in the “Homepage (ENG)” section “MIM Manufacturing Processes”), which may not be fully clear to users relying on assistive technologies;
    • Some third-party dynamic components may require additional optimizations related to ARIA attributes, focus management, and full keyboard navigation.
  2. No exemptions due to disproportionate burden have been claimed.
  3. All website content falls within the scope of the applicable legislation.

Corrective improvements are planned, and we are continuously working to resolve these issues.

The assessment was carried out using automated tools (WAVE and Silktide) and sample manual checks. WAVE and Silktide are tools capable of identifying numerous accessibility-related issues and non-compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
